5Storyline:
TS Spivet lives on a ranch in Montana with his mother who is obsessed with the morphology of beetles, his father (cowboy was born one hundred years too late), and age, 14 years sister who dreams of becoming Miss America. TS is a 12-year-old prodigy with a passion for cartography and scientific discoveries. One day, he gets an unexpected call from the Smithsonian saying that a recipient of the prestigious Baird for his discovery of a perpetual motion machine, and is invited to the reception in honor of where he is scheduled to give a speech. Without one, he embarks on a freight train through the United States to Washington DC. There is also Layton, the younger brother who was killed in an accident involving a firearm in the family barn, which no one ever talks about. TS was with him, the measurement range shots on experience, and it does not understand what happened.
